4-Star Entertainment Slated For B'nai B'rith's Dinner
Trentons Jewish Community is invited to attend a gala evening's entertainment sponsored
by B'nai B'rith Lodge 1268. The occasion is the Annual Installation Dinner scheduled
for Sunday evening, September 12th at The Congregation Brothers of Israel 499 Greenwood
Avenue in 1 Trenton.
This year, the lodge will honor Dr. ~ Yao Wu Lee who received his degree from Technion-Israel
institute of Technology A world renowned expert in Acupuncture, Dr. Lee was born
in China and most recently was the
Staff Director of The Acupuncture Center of New York City and was later named to
the same post at the famous Washington Acupuncture Center. Respected throughout the
Western World for his development of special
Acupuncture instruments, Lee was sent to Technion Institute in Israel after being
awarded a scholarship from the National Chiao-Tune University in Taiwan. |
to enchant the Trenton audience on the 12th of September at the Congregation Brothers
of Israel. Sticking to the strictly Oriental format. Trenton
Lodge No. 1268 has engaged the services of The Japanese-Jewish Girl, singer and dancer
Miriam Mizaktiira who recently returned from the State of Israel. Miriam makes the
audience feel that they are part of the show.
It is an instant love affair between Miriam and her audience.
Her unique Jewish-Japanese identity plus her rapidly growing popularity has a magnetic
appeal that attracts large audiences. As a Comedienne, Miriam is sure-fire as she
explodes with her Jewish and Japanese humor. Her impressions of all the leading movie
and television stars plus her singing and dancing make her a four-star attraction.

Local B'nai B'rith's Highest Award Goes
To Dr. Yao-Wu Lee
Trenton B'nai B'rith Lodge 1268 held their 40th Installation Dinner at the
Congregation Brothers of Israel on Sunday evening, September 12 where the lodge gave
its highest award to Dr. Yao-Wu Lee for his contributions to the State of Israel
Dr. Lee was born in China educated in the schools in China and Taiwan. He was also educated
in the following schools in Taiwan and Israel: Layang Chinese Acupunture School; Chung
Cheng Institute of Technology; National Chiao-Tung University; Techion, Israel Institute
of Technology, received his M.S. degree in Medical Electronics from Technion Institute,
he also received his Ph.D in science from Technion Institute in Israel.
Dr. Lee is also the donor of the "Dr. Yao Wu Lee Scholarship" for
Technion Institute.
He is on the Board of Directors of the American
Technion Society.
Miss Miriam Mizakura world famous Japanese Jewish television personality performed
by a large crowd with her singing of Jewish and Hebrew songs. |
